Discovery Park Photo Trip
The weather finally cleared up today, allowing me to take a photo trip with the “tulip gang” (the 4 of us who woke up at 3:30am to get on the tulip fields before dawn…) to Discovery Park in Seattle. Here are the photos from the trip.
My favorite sight was seeing an Osprey pull a fish from the water. I'm amazed that I’ve seen Osprey, Bald Eagles, and Herons fishing, and I have yet to see a bird miss. Maybe it’s just when I’m watching, but once those birds go into their dive or lunge, there’s always an unlucky fish on the other end.
Of course, every time I go to the grocery store I come back with a trunk full of food, so maybe the birds' hunting skills aren't so impressive.
By the way, if you ever see a photo that you want the original file for, just e-mail me. And, if any of you want to go out birding sometime, just let me know (you don't need a big photo lens...binoculars work great).
