We spent the afternoon of the 4th of July visiting friends in Tacoma and watching the Tacoma Air Show from their home.  Here are my first attempts at photographing an air show.  Not bad overall but could have been better with clear blue skies as the background.  Still, I'm happy that the planes were not blurry and underexposed given the lighting conditions.

I didn't get to try any fireworks photos this year as the evening was spent introducing my sister and her boyfriend (who were visiting from Portland) to Rock Band.  And, you know how it is the first time you play Rock Band...you really don't want to stop until you're so sleepy that you can't go on
