Robin and I spent a wonderful Wednesday late afternoon and evening at the zoo this past week.  We left work early and walked around the zoo for ~2 hours.  It was pretty hot and as a result, most of the animals weren't too active and I wasn't really at the top of my game with regard to animal photography.

But, after walking around the zoo we went to the Marc Cohn and Aimee Mann concert (as a part of the ZooTunes concert series).  Normally photography is strictly prohibited at concerts, but I didn't see or hear any announcements barring photography, so I snapped a photo of Marc Cohn.



Sorry, Paul H, no photo of Aimee Mann.  I was thinking of you but I got a little self-conscious about drawing attention to myself with the mega-lens, so I stashed the camera after grabbing the above photo Marc Cohn.

The concert was quite good, especially given the ticket price.  I've enjoyed Marc Cohn's music for many years and it was a treat to get to see him in concert.
